Introducing the unworn TAG Heuer Autavia Flyback Chronometer, Ref# CBE511C.FC8280, is a masterstroke of aviation-inspired design fused with cutting-edge chronograph technology. Its 42mm Black DLC coated brushed and polished stainless steel case, with a bold 15.68mm profile, brings commanding presence while staying true to the rugged spirit of the Autavia line. The black sunray dial, reminiscent of classic cockpit instruments, ensures instant legibility with polished White hands filled with green luminous material and applied Arabic numerals coated in green Super-LumiNova®. A finely printed seconds and fractions track along the flange keeps timing sharp and precise. The dial is balanced with a small seconds sub-dial and date window at 6 o’clock, while two black chronograph sub-dials anchor the layout: a 12-hour counter at 9 o’clock and a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock. At center, a bold chronograph seconds hand ties the design together. Driving it all is the column wheel chronograph mechanism, with the distinctive red metallic column wheel visible through the transparent sapphire case back. Enhanced with a flyback function, the chronograph resets instantly, ready for back-to-back timing like a pilot’s tool should.
